USCarrier Telecom, LLC Announces Executive Appointments

ATLANTA, GA – July 31, 2007 – www.uscarrier.com – USCarrier Telecom, LLC. a wholesale provider of high-speed long-haul transport today announced management appointments that will increase the depth of its senior executive team. The Board of Directors named Joaquin Luna, to the post of Chief Financial Officer. The company also named telecommunications industry sales professional, Greg Frikor to the position of Sales Director.

In his role as CFO, Mr. Luna will take charge of the strategic planning, direction and operations of USCarrier. Joaquin was in executive management with USCarrier from 2002 to 2005. He served as Vice-President of Finance for the company, where he had a key role in the restructuring, planning and growth of USCarrier. Mr. Luna successfully secured the funding to acquire the Alabama fiber optic network, Lightwave, which substantially increased the company’s southeastern footprint. His prior experience includes financial, executive and managerial experience with Intel Corporation, International Truck and Engine Corporation, Sun Healthcare Group and Infinity Group. Joaquin holds an MBA from DePaul University.

With more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications, Mr. Frikor comes to USCarrier most recently from Last Mile Connections where he served as Sales Director. Greg Frikor brings sales, marketing, business development and management experience, as well as a successful track record in executing large deals. He has worked for Intelliverse Telecom, AT&T, MCI, WilTel and Sprint.
