Joaquin Luna Named President of USCarrier Telecom
ATLANTA, GA – December 1, 2008 www.uscarrier.com– USCarrier Telecom, a Southeastern provider of wholesale high-speed long-haul telecommunications transport, today announced the promotion of Joaquin Luna from Chief Financial Officer to President. The Board of Managers unanimously appointed Mr. Luna to the post effective immediately.
Mr. Luna started with the company in 2002. In 2005 he took a brief hiatus and was asked to rejoin USCarrier in March 2007. During his tenure as CFO Joaquin was charged with the strategic direction and management operations of USCarrier and was instrumental in establishing growth initiatives, both within the company and with new partners. Under Joaquin’s direction the company has achieved a 30% revenue increase over the past eighteen months.

Mr. Luna’s prior experience includes financial, executive and managerial roles with Intel Corporation, International Truck and Engine Corporation, Sun Healthcare Group and Infinity Group. Joaquin holds an MBA from DePaul University.
